Blackburn and Darwen March and Hymn Contest

We were looking forward to a lovely sunny afternoon at the Blackburn and Darwen March and Hymn contest, but shortly before we were due to play the rain started.

It did not affect our performance and we came first in the march with Senator and came 2nd out of 19 bands overall.

Katy our second cornet player was the youngest player on the day, and Adam on principal cornet won the best soloist prize
